Collective Worship
The school provides daily Collective Worship for all pupils, which is delivered by various members of the school community, including our head teacher, our local Vicar, teachers and pupils.
Worship for each half-term links to a central theme based on a core Christian value. Pupils also take part in follow up activities, including discussions, art and written work, in class each week. This helps them to extend their understanding of Christian values and of the stories introduced in Worship.
Our vicar, Reverend Karen Herschell, leads worship weekly on a Tuesday.
Each month, a group of pupils known as Worship Warriors lead collective worship.
Parents are welcome to attend our Celebration Assemblies each Friday Morning, where we celebrate the achievements of our pupils.
Monday - God's Big Story with Miss Booth

Wednesday - Roots and Fruits Worship with Mrs Taylor
Thursday - Picture News with Mrs Murray
Friday - Celebration Assembly - Mrs Taylor and all the staff

Church links: We will continue to have our weekly Church worships on Tuesday morning led by Rev'd Karen at St Andrew's. We are very lucky to have our wonderful Church right next door to our school and so will be making the most of this and visiting for the Harvest Festival and inviting Rev'd Karen into school to help with our RE topics which this first half term is about the Bible and Holy Books. Rev'd Karen has also been very busy devising a special new Sunday Service called 'Alltogether Worship' where on the 4th Sunday of each month children from different classes in school will have a part to play in the village Sunday service. More information will follow as Year 5/6 will be involved in the very first worship of this form on Sunday 27th September.
